Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at Cardiff. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. The duration of this contract will be ongoing with a competitive pay rate of £45.00 – £55 per hour. Must be available Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment.
* Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
* Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
* Experience with abdomen and pelvic scans.
* Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* HCPC registration.
* At least 1 year UK experience as a sonographer within NHS and private sectors.
