Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to work with a leading designer importer and distributor of furniture, home decorations, lighting, kitchenware, and bathroom accessories in the Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland. Based in Glasgow and established for over 30 years, we supply blue-chip household name retailers, furniture and giftware stores, and the country’s leading interior designers.
Overview
To manage and develop existing accounts with a view to delivering growth with existing customers and pursuing opportunities with target accounts.
Key Duties
1. Achieving sales objectives and growth with your customer base by presenting catalogues and samples and creating quotes for products within our portfolio.
2. Sending customers quotes and information on products after understanding their needs and product requirements.
3. Administer all aspects of customer relationships, from managing existing business to capitalising on new opportunities.
4. Analyzing the products customers are buying to create a strategic plan for sales opportunities.
5. Deliver growth and market share gains.
6. Manage multiple accounts, ensuring a high level of customer retention and satisfaction.
7. Meet monthly quotas.
8. Engage with multiple existing customers daily and reach out to potential new clients, developing campaigns to maintain customer loyalty.
9. Implement strategies for retaining and further developing existing customers.
10. Record changes to customer accounts, update service packages, and manage accounts as needed.
11. Prospect for new customers.
Knowledge and skills:
* Knowledge of Interior Design, Furniture, and/or Homewares is desirable.
* Passionate, driven, professional, and commercially astute.
* Strong networking and long-term relationship skills.
* Good influencing and negotiation skills.
* Proactive and flexible in nature.
* Ability to collaborate with teams such as Design, IT, and Warehouse to meet customer needs.
* Proficient in MS applications, especially Excel.
* IT literate and adaptable to SAP systems.
* Experience in developing new business.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40k on target earnings plus bonuses.

* Monday to Friday plus 3 or 4 weekends annually at exhibitions
Supplemental pay types:
