Quantity Surveyor East Anglia Commercial
We are currently partnering with a large Tier 1 Main Contractor specialising in joinery and interior fitout. Their continued growth across the nation has been consistent ensuring high standards of delivery and a healthy pipeline. Due to this continued success, the need now exists for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in East Anglia on a Commercial fit-out project.
Responsibilities
Manage Project Costs from Inception to Completion:
Oversee all cost management activities for high-spec commercial fit-out projects, ensuring budgets are accurately forecasted, monitored, and controlled.
Procurement & Subcontractor Management:
Prepare tender packages, evaluate subcontractor quotations, and negotiate terms to ensure value for money and timely delivery of specialist joinery and fit-out packages.
Valuations & Variations:
Prepare interim valuations, assess variations, and manage change control processes to maintain commercial control and support prompt client and subcontractor payments.
Contract Administration:
Administer contracts (JCT or similar), ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting:
Produce accurate cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts, providing the commercial team and senior management with up-to-date financial insights and risk assessments.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 3+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Must have previous Joinery/Commercial fit out experience
Benefits
£55,000 - £60,000 + Package
