An opportunity has arisen for you to join our Portering Service Team in West Fife to provide portering services to wards and departments at Queen Margaret and Lynebank Hospitals.
We require applicants to be enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to cover other shift patterns when required is essential. Previous experience in driving vehicles, knowledge of Teletracking, team working, customer service, time management skills, and flexibility are key requirements.
Good communication skills are necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.
Previous portering experience is desirable; full training will be provided.
Manual handling duties include patient movement using chairs, trolleys, and beds, as well as delivery/collection of goods, waste disposal, furniture, mail duties, and other ad hoc services as needed.
You will be provided with a uniform and PPE where required and are expected to adhere to the NHS Fife Dress Code.
