This is anexcellent opportunity for someone with strong SEN experience who is passionateabout helping children access learning in a structured, nurturing environment.Role Overview
* Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning or behavioural needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised support strategies
* Encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation
* Assist with classroom routines, transitions and small-group activities where needed
Candidate Profile
* Previous SEN experience is essential
* Calm, patient and adaptable approach to supporting pupil needs
* Strong communication and rapport-building skills
* Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable
* Driving licence advantageous (due to school location)
SEN training highly valued, including:
* Understanding Autism
* ADHD Awareness
* Team Teach / De-escalation Training
* Trauma-Informed Practice
* BSL or other communication-focused training
* Makaton (highly desirable)

SEN Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives ofchildren with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you havethe experience, empathy, and resilience to support pupils in achieving theirfull potential?Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils in both classroom and one-to-one settings.
* Monitor progress and contribute to assessment and review processes.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND training).
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
