Procurement Administrator
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (Office Based)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 4:00pm
Contract Type – Permanent
As Procurement Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Procurement team. Acting as a first point of contact for stakeholders and suppliers, you will help ensure purchase orders, systems and processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
This is a varied and hands-on role offering exposure across procurement, warehouse and contract support functions within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as first point of contact for procurement-related queries
* Manage shared inboxes and telephone enquiries
* Provide general administrative support to the Procurement team
* Process purchase orders, collections and off-hires
* Maintain accurate delivery, stock and collection records
* Update and maintain internal systems and databases
* Export and format data using Excel
* Chase suppliers for outstanding orders and updates
Essential Skillset
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in an administrative or support role
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Experience managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Confident problem-solving ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new systems
