An excellent opportunity has arisen for a High Voltage Electrician to join a well-established, industry-leading contractor working within the water industry. Covering the Yorkshire region, you will work mobile Monday - Friday undertaking the following:
* Pump installations
* Actuator installations
* Level and pressure control
* Telemetry
* Inspection and testing
* MEICA equipment
The Electrical Technician must fully understand the normal operations of the plant and be conversant with the systems that ensure process safety.
Key responsibilities
* Oversight of technical standards and quality assurance
* Apprentice trained with a minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical inspection and repair work, preferably involving High Voltage work and fault finding
* Work as part of a team, understanding safe working procedures and applying recognized safety practices
* Work unsupervised, delivering first-class customer service in line with departmental goals and KPIs
A working knowledge of the following is required:
* HV & LV Networks, Circuit Breakers, and Protection Equipment
* Transformers
* Earthing Systems
* HV & LV Permit to Work Systems
* Electrical testing and fault-finding skills
The job holder should have a methodical approach, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making ability, and effective verbal communication. A current driving license is essential.

* Basic Salary up to £40,000
