We are looking for a Marketing Executive in our Twickenham office to work on two market-defining events covering design and development of packaging for consumer products: London Packaging Week and Packaging Innovations.
About Us
The role will be to work across two shows: Packaging Innovations & Empack, which takes place every February in Birmingham, and London Packaging Week, our annual event in October.
Both shows bring together the people and companies that create packaging for the products we all use every day. Their mission is to drive new innovation and business in packaging. This means it is our job to create inspirational and dynamic events and experiences that help brands and retailers to create new packaging, discover new possibilities and find new suppliers.
London Packaging Week focuses on four markets: beauty and cosmetics, premium drinks, luxury, and consumer products. Packaging Innovations, meanwhile, focuses on packaging for a range of everyday products such as food and drink, personal care, household products and so on. Teams from household-name brands and retailers such as Coca-Cola, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, PepsiCo, Nestle, Unilever and P&G – and thousands more – attend the shows and see them as an unmissable moment in their annual calendars.
Through its mission 'visit the future', Easyfairs is ambitious and driven to provide life-changing events for the communities it serves. With over 200 events, 28,000 exhibitors and 1.2m visitors, across 10 venues and 17 countries, we are one of the fastest-growing events businesses in the world. More importantly, we offer a fantastic working environment and a company culture where talent and success are rewarded – and where having fun is one of our corporate values.
About The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to be based in our Twickenham office in south-west London.
Working as part of a core marketing team of five people, you will play a key role in delivering the marketing campaign for the two events, which take place in February and October.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
* Creating marketing collateral for print, online, social and email channels;
* Delivering that collateral through the full mix of channels – print and digital media, PPC, direct mail, email, social and more – with intelligently-managed segmented activity;
* Speaking regularly to both exhibitors and visitors to understand their needs and requirements, and support them with their preparations for our events;
* Supporting the management of our year-round content programme, including our Awards programme;
* Managing relationships and partnerships with media, associations and a range of suppliers;
* Working on both the visitor-focused and exhibitor-focused marketing campaigns;
* Playing a key role in the smooth running of the event onsite;
* Reporting and analysis post-event.
What’s more, as part of this role, you will be creating content for, and will have the opportunity to meet, the creative and innovative minds behind the consumer products that define our modern economy.
About You
So that’s the role. What about you?
* You are an ambitious marketing executive or graduate with experience of the full marketing mix, and you have the energy and drive to succeed in a growing company.
* You are an excellent copywriter who can translate technical or business content into strong and engaging messages.
* You are a confident communicator and enjoy dealing with people at all levels, both internally within the company and in the market.
* You have native-level English.
* You are comfortable working with systems like WordPress, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and of course Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
* You thrive on working under pressure and you have the resilience to keep smiling while doing it – and while you love working in a team, you’re also comfortable working autonomously in your own area of responsibility.
