JOB TITLE: Head of Social and Supported Housing - Business and Commercial Banking
LOCATIONS: Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Newport, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About This Opportunity
We’re playing a leading role in addressing the crisis in social housing. We’ve partnered with Crisis, calling for 1 million additional social rent homes over a decade. We are committed to supporting specialist and supported housing providers, with increased funding and partnerships to tackle homelessness.
To drive these initiatives, we’re creating a new role within our Business and Commercial Bank: Head of Social & Supported Housing. You’ll be part of our National Real Estate & Housing team, shaping strategy and leading impactful initiatives. You’ll also be a key member of our leadership team, influencing the future of housing support.
You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to ensure our Social Housing Initiative delivers positive change.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing customer origination strategies within the social and supported housing community.
2. Collaborating with credit risk and finance teams to evolve our product offerings.
3. Promoting the bank within the professional community and developing business opportunities.
4. Leading events and partnerships to position us as sector leaders.

What You’ll Need
* Understanding of housing demand, funding structures, and key partners.
* Relationship management skills with non-paid introducers.
* Expertise in evaluating complex solutions aligned with strategic goals.
* Experience managing customer accounts or leading advisory teams.
* Data analysis skills to identify trends and impacts.
