Electrical Engineer
Based: On our clients site Rolls-Royce Derby.
Hours: 40hrs Monday - Friday
What this job involves
As an Electrical Engineer at JLL youll be part of a team thats shaping a brighter way for our client Rolls-Royce and fellow employees. Youll apply your expertise to design install and maintain electrical systems in various commercial and industrial settings in Derby. What your day-to-day will look like
* Maintenance troubleshooting and repair of low voltage electrical systems including but not limited to lighting power distribution fire alarm systems security systems emergency lighting and access control.
* Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and relevant codes. Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately.
* Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify troubleshoot and resolve faults in low voltage electrical systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Carry out repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
* Preventive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime increase system reliability and extend the lifespan of low voltage electrical systems. Create and maintain maintenance schedules.
* Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health safety and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with electrical regulations codes and standards to ensure safety and minimize risks. Report any hazards or incidents promptly.
* Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members contractors and clients to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction. Provide guidance and support to junior team members when required. Documentation and
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed including maintenance logs inspection reports work orders and equipment inventory. Ensure that relevant documentation and records are up to date.
Requirements
* C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (Or Equivalent)
* C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection cert preferred)
* 18th edition
* Strong Electrical & HVAC experience
* Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
* Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required
* Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations about maintenance activities
* Must be prepared to work out of hours when required
* Have good communication and organisation skills
* Have a positive can do attitude
* Must have a full UK driving license
* Ability to work on own or as part of a team
