Medical Ward 1
Staff Nurse (RGN or RSCN)
Band 5 £33,247 - £41,424 per annum Pro rata
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum
24.40 hours per week
Fixed Term post Until June 2026
Medical Ward 1 is part of the Integrated Medical Unit. The ward deals with a wide range of acute medical conditions and has a designated 4 Bedded High Dependency Unit (HDU) and 3 Paediatric beds. The HDU provides facilities for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and invasive medical procedures and investigations.
Day/Night Rotation.
Responsibilities / qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse (RGN or RSCN) who will have:
* Commitment to the delivery of evidence based care.
* Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a flexible team orientated approach.
* A Paediatric /HDU qualification is desirable but not essential for this post. Applicants will be expected to take part in looking after paediatric patients.
