Field Service & Commissioning Engineer Salary: £38,500 basic, £60,000 OTE Location: UK, Europe & Worldwide Travel We are seeking an experienced Field Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our established engineering team. This role offers variety, technical challenge, and excellent career prospects within a leading company in the heavy/foundry sector. The Role Commissioning Commission equipment on customer sites in the UK, Europe, and occasionally worldwide. Take responsibility for Health & Safety during on-site activities. Liaise closely with contractors, engineers, and customers to ensure successful completion of commissioning projects. Deliver customer training and provide technical advice and support. Up to 4 weeks on commissioning assignments. Weekend return to the UK depends on job demands and location. Occasional weekend work may be required for breakdowns. Service Service equipment on customer sites across the UK, Europe, and occasionally worldwide. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance visits. Diagnose equipment issues, ensuring correct tools and spares are available. Build strong relationships with clients at all levels, up to MD/Owner level. Skills & Experience ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or minimum City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred). Strong knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics. Previous experience in a foundry or heavy industry environment is advantageous.
