The Role
As a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high‑quality software solutions for cutting edge projects.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a critical role in developing next generation software solutions, working closely with project managers, chief engineers, cross-functional engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Design, implement, and maintain high‑quality, reliable, and secure software solutions
2. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code complying to defined software coding standards
3. Lead the development of complex features or components across the full software development lifecycle and contribute to architectural design, system planning, and long-term technical strategy
4. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to support continuous improvement
5. Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance while fostering a positive, learning culture
6. Promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuous learning across the team
Essential experience of the Senior Software Engineer:
7. Proven experience as a Software Engineer with significant experience in a senior or technical‑lead role
8. Experience of architecting and designing software solutions for both small-scale and large-scale systems
9. Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++ or Java).
10. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high‑quality software
12. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders with the ability to influence technical direction
Essential qualifications for the Senior Software Engineer:
13. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
