Additionally, they offer a wide range of foodservice products, including fresh, frozen and ambient. They take pride in sourcing their produce locally whenever possible, from strawberries in Donegal to carrots in Derry. As a result of continued success and growth, Hays has been appointed to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position. Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. There is some flexibility in relation to working hours that can be discussed at an interview. In your role as Business Development Manager you will cover Derry, Donegal, and Tyrone. Your new role As Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include: New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive growth. Account Management: Maximise sales on existing accounts through effective relationship management. Supplier and Buyer Sourcing: Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers and buyers. Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers across Derry, Donegal, and Tyrone to meet their needs and ensure satisfaction. What you'll need to succeed As Business Development Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering sales within the FMCG industry, with strong knowledge of food products and foodservice goods. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. You will be self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Have the ability to work independently and make decisions in line with business requirements.
