Purpose of the Role
To manage and monitor supplier risk and performance, ensuring compliance with Barclays' policies and standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.
Accountabilities
1. Manage and execute supplier control processes, oversee supplier performance, and monitor KPIs to meet expectations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholder groups to produce deliverables that meet procurement needs, policies, standards, mitigate risks, and align supplier relationships with the bank’s strategy.
3. Identify suitable suppliers through market research, capabilities analysis, and contract negotiation.
4. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to supplier management tools and techniques.
5. Monitor suppliers’ control operations to meet standards, contractual obligations, quality, risk mitigation, and commercial activities.
6. Collaborate with regulatory teams to support global regulatory requests and exams.
