Overview
Our care home managers are responsible for the day-to-day running of their care home. They oversee all activities within the home and ensure the quality of the service and care provided meets the National Minimum Standards for their type of home.
In addition, they would be expected to monitor business performance, fundraising, negotiating contracts, working with a budget and developing clear policies and practices regarding quality statements.
They would also recruit, train and supervise the staff working within their home.
They will look to promote a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and rights to privacy, independence and choice are met. You will supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to residents, checking legal requirements are met along with the high levels expected within our homes.
Comprehensive support is available from an operational team that support our managers. We have a great package available for the right candidate. Candidates must be RGN/RM with an active PIN and ideally previous experience in a busy nursing home at managerial level.
