The Role

Stephens Scown is looking for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant to support our busy Property Litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional client service, and wants to be part of an ambitious, people-focused firm.

Working closely with our Solicitors, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support, helping the team deliver exceptional service across a range of property disputes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

* Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
* Managing diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating schedules
* Handling incoming calls and assisting with client enquiries
* File opening and compliance tasks, including AML checks
* Electronic and paper file management, including bundling
* Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties
* Billing support and general administrative duties to assist smooth workflow


About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Confident with Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Professional, friendly and a strong team player
* Able to manage competing deadlines and remain calm under pressure
* Committed to delivering outstanding client service
