Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment, providing support to staff and facilitating effective communication within the organisation.
Duties
· Stock control of stationery and sundry items
· Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, maintaining the outgoing post register
· Photocopying, filing and scanning of documentation
· Answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries and taking of messages
· Taking card payments over the telephone, processing payments received into the bank and via direct debit issuing of receipts
· Assisting with the monitoring and updating of the destruction register
· Booking of accommodation and hire vehicles
· Obtain quotes for replacement of existing stock items, or new items required
· Receive enquiries respond / distribute as appropriate
· Provide general administration support to members of the IExpE Office Team as required
· Receiving applications for membership (paper and via website), liaison with applicant and referees, uploading to the membership database
· Monitoring and maintaining membership renewal notices
· Maintaining, monitoring and updating the members area of the IExpE website
· Monitoring, processing and production of IExpE identification cards
· Processing applications received for CSCS cards, monitoring application schedule, updating CSCS portal, production and dispatch of CSCS cards
· Assist with the dispatch of learner certificates
· Assist with the processing of Accredited Trainer applications and the production of Accredited Trainer cards
· Assisting with the preparation for company events including dealing with event hosts and venues, sponsors and exhibitors, and delegates
· Preparation of materials for events including membership information, event stand, branded items
· Participation in company events (including out of hours) as necessary
· Assist with the obtaining of articles and adverts for the Journal, liaison with editors, obtaining article approval, proof reading and dispatch of digital and paper version
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential; administrative experience is highly desirable.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry tasks.
* Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, showcasing professional phone etiquette.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
