We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our Construction team. As a Cost Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing project costs and ensuring that we achieve the best possible outcomes.
This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our project managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain cost plans and cost estimates.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing project costs and developing cost plans and cost estimates
* Providing cost advice and guidance to project managers and other stakeholders
* Supporting the tendering and evaluation process, including the selection of procurement strategy and contract
* Assisting with contract administration and negotiations
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction, or business. Previous experience in a cost engineer, contract management or commercial role within the construction or infrastructure sectors is also desirable.
