Senior Sous Chef (Pizza & Flatbread)
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant cooking, food safety, and kitchen management, particularly with pizza and dough preparation. You will be responsible for overseeing food production and preparation of the new concept, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Due to the nature of the business, regular weekend working will be required, as well as a mixture of daytime and evening shifts.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Develop new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a restaurant setting, particularly with pizza and dough
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to liaise with both BOH and FOH teams

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
