Established in 1991, we’re the UK’s statutory advisor on issues affecting the natural environment across the UK and internationally. Our primary role is advising all four Governments of the UK. Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and VPN technology for remote users. 2. Utilise centralised software deployment tools for application updates and automated laptop builds for new users. 3. Manage network servers, critical services (DNS, DHCP), virtual desktops, and backup systems. 4. Collaborate with the Cyber Security Officer for system patching and manage JNCC's Office 365 and Azure environments. 5. Administer the Endpoint Manager mobile device management system and provide technical support for corporate Apple phones. 6. Respond to helpdesk tickets, resolve technical issues, document solutions, and share knowledge with colleagues. 7. Engage in continuous learning, research projects, and business partnering to meet JNCC's technical infrastructure needs.
