The post advertised is a full-time position for 12 months.
The starting salary for this post is £25,147 per annum, based on 35 hours per week. Please note the advertised salary is the standard starting salary for the role, however consideration can be made for exceptional candidates)
Applications from a range of experienced and qualified practitioners would be welcomed.
Your base will be Kingfisher House, Huntingdon, with some working from home, and where required, travel across the county.
The children and young people’s (CYP) Mental health practitioner’s focus will be to support children, young people and their families at the point of referral, offering the right support at the right time. This will include, utilising your skills in single session thinking to offer advice and guidance alongside completing full assessments and formulation of need, where appropriate. There may also be the opportunity, should capacity allow, or service need arise, to co-facilitate emotional wellbeing groups and providing advice, support and guidance to parents and young people awaiting further intervention with our team.
The post holder will hold a qualification in children’s mental health and have experience of working with children, young people and parents presenting with a range of mental health difficulties. Qualifications may include Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP), Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP’s), Counsellors, Mental Health Nurses, and other similar qualifications.
