Geography teacher – Cardiff- February start
Prospero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Cardiff who are seeking a full time, temporary teacher of Geography to work in their school from after the half term break in February and will continue until the end of the current academic year. You will be required to teach Geography to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be required to deliver lessons that are engaging & that will challenge the classes. You will be expected to deliver lessons that are engaging yet challenging for the pupils, mark the work and provide regular feedback. You will also need to attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise.
This role is ope to ECTs and fully qualified teachers, with QTS.

Minimum rate of pay: in line with your main pay scale
Hours: 8 am – 4pm (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Teacher of Geography
Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
Teacher of Geography at key stage 3 & 4
Hold a valid & recognised teaching qualification
You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis, the role is open to ECT’s and more experienced teachers. You will be required to commit to the role in it’s entirety.
Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided)
To be eligible for this History teaching job with Prospero Teaching
hold Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list. DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide a minimum of two professional related references covering the last 2 years
