As a Senior Business Analyst within Centrica Technology, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering large, complex transformation initiatives that drive real business value. Working across the full life cycle—from early shaping to delivery—you’ll define high‑quality functional and non‑functional requirements that bridge business ambition and technology execution.
Day to day
* Shape and define demand, working with stakeholders to take ideas from early scoping to clear business cases that support strategic priorities
* Lead requirements end‑to‑end, from discovery and elicitation through to documentation and sign‑off, ensuring clarity, quality and alignment to business outcomes
* Engage and influence stakeholders, acting as bridge between business and technology to align objectives, challenge thinking and drive the right outcomes
* Facilitate workshops and drive clarity, running engaging sessions to uncover problems, define processes and agree solutions that are simple, scalable and effective
* Support delivery across the lifecycle, working closely with delivery, QA and UAT teams to ensure requirements are understood, traceable and delivered as intended
* Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, coach and mentor team members and enhance overall quality of delivery across the portfolio
What we need from you

* Confidence communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
* Analytical thinker, able to interpret data and present meaningful insights to a wide range of business and technology audiences
* Ability to identify, document and manage both functional and non‑functional requirements, ensuring they support clear business outcomes including scalability, stability and operational effectiveness
* Ownership of challenges, driving them through to resolution and supporting delivery end‑to‑end to ensure requirements are understood, traceable and validated through testing
