Role: Strategic Programme Director Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £57,000 - £59,000 per annum Hybrid: Coventry-based with travel across Coventry, Warwickshire, and occasional national travel Location: Coventry Sellick Partnership is partnering with a Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit a Strategic Programme Director on a permanent basis. The Responsibilities of the Strategic Programme Director will be: Lead the strategic planning and programme management aligned with the vision and goals. Work closely with the Bishop and Senior Staff Team to articulate and implement a clear direction. Oversee the successful delivery of multiple diocesan-wide strategic projects and initiatives. Develop effective programme governance, reporting structures, and risk management processes. Liaise with external funding bodies to shape funding proposals and manage relationships. Recruit and manage the Programme Management Office team and external contractors. Act as a key advisor, supporting change management and communication efforts. Ensure clear stakeholder engagement, reporting, and accountability at all levels. The Ideal candidate for the Strategic Programme Director will have: A degree or equivalent experience, with substantial experience managing complex programmes. Proven track record in strategic planning and leading organisational transformation. Experience working within or with complex institutions; understanding of the Church of England is desirable. Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. The ability to operate in ambiguous environments with resilience and strategic focus. Experience engaging diverse stakeholders and managing change across varied communities.
