Material Requirements Planning Controller
Our Basingstoke-based client is looking for a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Controller to join their team. The MRP Controller is responsible for optimizing production planning and inventory control through effective use of Material Requirements Planning systems.
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Duties:
* Analyze and resolve MRP exceptions to maintain optimal inventory levels
* Monitor MRP system performance and identify areas for improvement
* Execute MRP processes to generate purchase and production orders
* Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with sales forecasts and demand
* Coordinate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to ensure the MPS is achievable
* Forecast future customer demand
* Collect and analyze data to create accurate forecasts
* Generate reports on inventory levels, production, warehouse performance, and supply chain metrics
* Work closely with suppliers
* Provide firm and forecast requirement windows to the supply chain
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
* Maintain and update MRP system data, including item master, bill of materials, and routings
Skills:
* Computer literacy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in manufacturing or supply chain management (preferred)
* Strong understanding of MRP principles and concepts
* Proficiency in MRP software
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
