They are on the lookout for a capable, experienced Principal Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design who is looking to take on an array of challenging projects, based near the family-friendly, richly-cultural city of Newport, South Wales.

Responsibilities for the role of Principal Civil Engineer include:
13. Managing a team of professionals, overseeing their daily design projects
14. Undertaking technical design work and reporting
15. Overseeing projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, renewable energies, remediation, and rail
16. Build, maintain, and manage client and stakeholder relations
Required skills and experience for the role of Principal Civil Engineer include:
17. Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering
18. Possess Chartered Status with a recognised Professional Body, or actively working to attain this
19. Extensive experience in infrastructure, drainage, and highways design
20. Highly competent in adoptable works, including the adoption procedure for highways authorities and water utilities
21. Excellent working knowledge of a number of relevant software packages, including MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Civils 3D, AutoCAD, etc.
22. Demonstrable experience of leading an array of design projects
23. Experience of liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
24. Prior experience of managing a team of design engineers and technicians
25. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
26. Good organisational and time management skills
27. Possess a full, valid UK driving licence

28. Prior experience of client and stakeholder management
29. Experience of marketing, including winning business/contracts
30. The ability to speak Welsh
