Hours: 35 hours per week | Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (Inside IR35)
About the Role
A local public sector organisation in Enfield is seeking a Community Adaptations Officer for a short-term assignment supporting a vital community equipment and adaptations service. This hands-on role ensures vulnerable residents have access to the equipment they need to live independently and safely at home.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and technical support for the delivery and maintenance of lifting and mobility equipment.
* Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to arrange installations, repairs, and assessments.
* Respond to enquiries from residents, carers, and professionals, providing advice and resolving issues efficiently.
* Manage and prioritise a personal caseload, ensuring records are maintained and service targets are met.
* Support procurement, reporting, and audit activity as required.
What You'll Bring
* Experience working in a social care, housing, or community-based setting.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to handle technical queries and manage tasks independently.
* Confidence working with vulnerable service users, showing empathy and professionalism.
