Job Title: Decking Installations Warehouse Operative
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

DekBoard is a rapidly growing supplier of high-quality decking systems, operating across Yorkshire & Humberside and neighboring counties. We are leaders in the leisure market and also have extensive expertise in domestic decking installations.
As we expand, we seek a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Decking Installations Warehouse Operative to join our Scunthorpe team, supporting warehousing and logistics operations alongside our sales and installation departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and prepare decking "pre-build/kits" based on site surveys and installation plans.
* Monitor, maintain, and record stock movements accurately across multiple sites.
* Coordinate workflows within the warehouse and workshop teams to meet installation schedules.
* Fabricate and prepare decking components for dispatch.
* Communicate effectively with fitting teams, Operations Coordinators, and stakeholders regarding product readiness and order changes.
* Oversee stock forecasting, reporting, and control of goods in/out processes.
* Implement and maintain workshop and warehouse procedures for efficiency and security.
* Identify product rejections and report causes and costs.
* Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery on and off site.
* Uphold health and safety, cleanliness, and security standards.
* Support the Planning & Logistics Supervisor with process reviews and improvements.
* Perform additional duties to support operations.
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if required.
* Maintain strong attention to detail and interpret technical plans.
* Have knowledge of warehousing and logistics operations.
* Be self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
* Be trustworthy and dependable as a team player.
* Basic fabrication or construction skills are preferred but not essential—training provided.
