Health & Social Care Lecturer (Part-Time), CLARUS EDUCATION
Clarus Education is partnering with a leading FE College in Uxbridge to appoint a passionate Health & Social Care Lecturer. This role supports learners aged 16-19 and involves teaching Health & Social Care courses and the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification, as well as BTEC Health and Social Care at Levels 1–3.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health & Social Care at Levels 1–3.
* Provide real-world nursing insights and ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
* Support learners aged 16–19 to prepare for rewarding careers in health and social care.
* Contribute to safeguarding and learner achievement as part of college commitments.
Essential Requirements
* Nursing Degree: You must hold a degree in Nursing.
* NMC Registration: You must be currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Clinical Experience: You must have current or recent clinical experience within the health/social care sector.
* Teaching/Training Experience: Some teaching or training experience is required.
* Teaching Qualification: A Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. DET, PGCE) is desirable. If not held, the College will support you to achieve it.
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience delivering Health and Social Care programmes, including Health Sciences and BTEC (including external exam units).
* Strong knowledge of Biology and the ability to teach Health and Science subjects.
* Ability to engage and motivate vocational learners aged 16–19.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Good classroom management and IT skills, including online teaching and assessment.
* Strong organisational, administrative, and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to learner achievement, equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
