We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work across special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) schools in Bolton.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex learning difficulties, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assist with tailored learning activities and individual education plans (EHCPs)
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, or support settings)
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting SEND pupils
* Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
