About the Role
As a Works Planner & Co-ordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations – the central link between customers, engineers, suppliers, and management. From scheduling and resource planning to handling customer enquiries and maintaining accurate project data, you’ll ensure that jobs run on time, within budget, and with complete customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls, assisting customers with queries, concerns, and service requests in a professional manner.
* Raise and log jobs accurately in the company system.
* Plan, allocate, and schedule work for engineers/operatives, ensuring efficient time management and productivity.
* Collate and maintain project information, ensuring accurate records are kept.
* Order required materials and liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
* Monitor job progress, providing updates to customers and management.
* Prepare and maintain work schedules, arranging return visits if needed.
* Work closely with colleagues to collate data for completion statistics and performance reporting.
* Support the delivery of a high-quality service, ensuring excellent customer experience at every stage.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proficiency in project planning and scheduling.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in resource management and coordination.
* Proficient in IT systems for job logging, scheduling, and data management.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Ability to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and engineers.
