For this role, you’ll need site management experience in the delivery of new build housing or significant experience working in the construction sector in residential development. You will be able to see the golden thread that runs from early design choices though to delivery to ensure buildings are safe and play a proactive role in improving the safe delivery of new affordable housing. You will be an excellent communicator and will understand the importance of working collaboratively to achieve outcomes. You will have good IT skills including Microsoft applications and Office 365. Is this for you? As our new Clerk of Works, you’ll be an integral part of the Development Team to ensure quality and consistency in design and construction of our new housing pipeline. You will work with project managers at the pre development stage to provide valuable technical input to the projects, leading into the construction phase where attending site to inspect works and ensure contractors are progressing diligently and safely. Taking a lead on the technical aspects, you will support to update and suggest amendments of MVH’s new build specification document, identifying amendments and updates where appropriate and working with our colleagues and stakeholders.
