Job Description:
This Client has a requirement for a Structural Engineer with between 3/7 years experience due to expanding their Leeds office. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of schemes including Residential, Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Scientific.
You will be experienced with design, assessment and inspections of new and existing buildings in Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber.
You will occasionally act as technical lead on projects
Undertake analysis and design using hand calculations as well as a range of software packages, including CSC, Fastrak, Tekkla, Building Designer, TEDDS, CSI Safe, Robot and Bluebeam Revu.
Communicate effectively with other members of the design team to achieve and coordinate design solutions that meet the Clients objectives.
Ensure the highest standards are adhered to in terms of consistency of technical output; drawings, reports, calcs, designs etc.
Person Specification:
If you would like to apply for this opportunity you will possess between 3/7 years experience within the industry and be working towards Chartership. You will bring an enthusiastic approach to producing structural engineering solutions.
You will have demonstrated experience and an understanding of design involving most key elements of structures to Eurocode & British Standards.
Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills is required.
Experience of working on large projects; offices, hotels, warehouse and housing developments would certainly be advantageous.
