The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons to students with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are supported both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
* Delivering differentiated lessons tailored to specific learning needs
* Collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Promoting inclusion and fostering a nurturing classroom environment
* Monitoring pupil progress and adapting strategies to support development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and SEN strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
