Customer obsessed, high energy and love learning every day? If that sounds like you, earn £370+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract. Your role will be varied working across different shift times, tasks and with different colleagues. Note: As a Customer Assistant you are required to sell alcohol, therefore you must be 18 or over to work in our store.
Shift Patterns
* Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, stocking award-winning products on the shop floor and preparing bakery items for opening time.
* Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, ensuring store cleanliness, product freshness, helping customers, and working on tills to minimise queues.
* Late shift: Afternoon start, serving customers, restocking, and preparing the store for the next day.
What you'll do
* Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
What you'll need
* A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills
* The willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
* To be responsible and reliable
* To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment
* A good team player
* Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude

* £12.40 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years

* Year 1: Basic Rate £12.40; £15.50 Unsocial Hours; £18.60 Overtime/Sundays
* Year 2: Basic Rate £12.80; £16.00 Unsocial Hours; £19.20 Overtime/Sundays
* Year 3: Basic Rate £13.40; £16.75 Unsocial Hours; £20.10 Overtime/Sundays
* Year 4: Basic Rate £14.10; £17.63 Unsocial Hours; £21.15 Overtime/Sundays
