Job Summary

Location: Ringwood

Hours: 8am-4pm Mon-Fri, with flexibility required. In-office presence expected 2 days per week (Tues/Weds or Weds/Thur), with options for full-time office-based work.

Benefits: Free parking (parking permit), 20 days + Bank Holidays, Pension, Training provided.

Note: You must drive and have a clean(ish) driving license.

Aspire Jobs is partnering with a well-established Elderly Care Home group in the Midlands, seeking an Operations Lead for their central team based in Ringwood. The role supports the growth and ambition of the organization, with remote support from the board as needed.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director, with support from other Board members. They should be proactive, multitask effectively, and align with the company's values and high standards. This multi-skilled role involves various duties and requires flexibility, including attending meetings in the Midlands sometimes at short notice.

This role values attitude highly. The candidate should be entrepreneurial, proactive, caring, passionate, work-focused, driven, and motivated.

The ideal candidate will be

* Organized and detail-oriented
* Excellent communicator, especially over the phone
* Calm in crises
* Very flexible, not a 9-5 role
* Experience in property, maintenance, or facilities procurement is a plus


Job Description

Operations Lead Responsibilities:


Procurement

* Sourcing, tracking, chasing, and reporting on purchased items
* Managing trades accounts for price comparison and value optimization


HR & Admin

* Implementing online cloud-based HR systems
* Ensuring completion of employee paperwork and online training, collaborating with Care Home administrators
* Supporting the finance team with resident contracts


Property Management

* Supporting coordination, logistics, and reporting of property repairs and upgrades, working with Maintenance Leads
* Liaising with contractors regarding repairs, scheduling, materials, and timelines
* Being the point of contact for contractors, including out-of-hours calls
* Managing logistics and timelines for refurbishment projects
