Job Title: Business Teacher

Salary: £168 to £261 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Mansfield, just outside the town centre. The school is well‑known in the area and has a good reputation.
The school is looking to take on a Business Teacher on a part‑time basis for 2 days per week on a long‑term contract starting in September 2026 after the summer break. This is a vacancy and as such a permanent role could be available for the right applicant from September 2026 or January 2027.
The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including exam preparation for GCSEs and A‑Levels. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality lessons in Business for Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
* Plan and assess curriculum in line with the national standards and the school’s schemes of learning.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.
* Manage classroom effectively to support learning and behavior.
* Provide timely feedback and collaborate with colleagues to support student progress.
Qualifications
* QTS or relevant Teaching Qualification with Business specialism (ECTs are also welcomed).
* Experience teaching Business up to Key Stage 5.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
