Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + 10% bonus
Benefits: Company car, Bupa health care, pension & 25 days annual leave The role of Technical Manager - Root Protection Systems will involve:
* Technical Manager position promoting a range of tree root protection systems
* Dealing with specifiers, consultants, designers, architects, civils contractors and councils
* Providing technical solutions to customer’s ensuring that they get the best product for their requirements
* Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects
* Present CPD’s (circa 8 seminars per month)
* Conduct site visits assessing the customers requirements and ensuring the project can be complete
* Instructing Engineer’s to carry out ground testing where required
* Regular liaison with internal sales team to book in CPD’s and client visits
* Offering technical advice to the sales team to assist with the raising of quotations
The ideal applicant will be Technical Manager - Root Protection Systems with:
* Must have sound technical knowledge of arboriculture, civils or groundworks
* Must have experience in a field based position managing your own diary
* Ideally experience in ground reinforcement products such as geomembranes, grass/gravel reinforcements, drainage modules, gabions, erosion controls & root protection
* Experience with dealing with specifiers, consultants, contractors and councils
* Familiar with specifications and specification literature
* Confident individual comfortable with presenting CPD’s
* Highly organised, motivated and driven
* Excellent communication skills written and verbally
* Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
* Comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
* IT Literate
