About Us:
Berry Recruitment is a trusted logistics provider working with a wide range of clients across various industries. As demand increases, we are looking for reliable and experienced HGV Drivers (Class 1 and Class 2) to join our team and help deliver essential goods across Varies areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate an HGV (Class 1 or Class 2) vehicle to deliver goods to multiple locations.
* Adhere to assigned routes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
* Load and unload goods, assisting where necessary to ensure safe delivery.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to all legal driving regulations (tachographs, CPC, etc.).
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
* A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 License.
* Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Proven experience as an HGV driver, with a strong track record of safe driving.
* Good understanding of UK road laws and regulations.
* Physical fitness for some manual handling and loading/unloading tasks.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
