A great opportunity for a Sous Chef to join this team based at a site in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves working in a Staff Dining operation from 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends, ensuring a good work/life balance.
The Sous Chef will work in a small team of 3-4 people, catering for 100-200 people daily, mainly lunch service, preparing hot main courses, salads, and grab-and-go items.
The role requires deputising for the Manager, including ordering, stock takes, and paperwork, so some experience in these areas is needed.
Contract catering experience is preferred, but candidates from hotel, restaurant, or event kitchens with the ability to follow recipes and prepare food from scratch will be considered.
