Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Procurement Support Officer to join our client who are based in Mid Kent. This position will start out on a temporary basis with the opportunity for the right person to join their team permanently.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience within a similar role, a methodological approach and a willingness to learn, you will be supporting the Procurement Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the daily operations.
Duties include:
* Being the point of contact to suppliers following up on services and products.
* Working closely with internal departments
* Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner
* Ensure the Invoice checking process is followed and accurate reporting
* Dealing with Transport and Customs invoices
* Maintaining and updating the CRM database with accurate information
* Processing Freight invoices
To be considered for this role, you must have/be:
* Previous experience within a similar role is ideal but not essential, Packhouse admin experience will be considered
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience is essential
* Able to demonstrate confidence dealing with formulas, graphs and data entry
* Able to thrive when working to deadlines
* A proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail
* Able to pick up new systems quickly and effectively
