Are you a passionate and experienced ECE teacher with a heart for preschoolers? Millie's House Shirley Road is looking for an inspiring teacher leader to guide our busy Preschool room.
Our perfectly sized centre opened at the end of 2024. We are so proud of our centre, it is the perfect size at 55 and a beautiful nurturing space that provides fun early learning with well-designed indoor‑outdoor flow.

As the lead teacher for our preschoolers, you will:
* Lead with heart, knowledge and understanding of ECE.
* Deliver a curriculum that supports our preschoolers progress through a planning, implementation and evaluation process, ensuring tamariki interests and needs are at the centre of our program.
* Build and maintain strong, intentional relationships with parents and whānau, creating and sharing the learning moments that build their child's development.
* Support the teaching team to collaborate, learn and reach collective and personal growth goals to achieve the early learning you aspire to deliver, and to see the future as the teacher you and your colleagues aspire to be.
What we’re looking for
* A qualified and certificated ECE teacher.
* Proven leadership experience or be a ready-to-step-up experienced teacher.
* A solid understanding of Te Whāriki and intentional teaching.
* A collaborative team player who communicates with warmth and professionalism.
