Due to increased demand within the department, our client now has a requirement for a Quality Engineer. Our work environment includes: • Modern office setting • Steel fabrication and metal-working • Final assembly spaces and workshops • Growth opportunities Your main purpose is: To provide a proactive and cross functional conduit between the Quality, and Manufacturing teams. Developing cost effective and efficient production methods to meet customer requirements whilst complying with relevant Standards. Where necessary, it may be a requirement to deputise for the Quality Senior, therefore acting as Quality Representative in their absence. Key Responsibilities and Duties. • Exercise the highest degree of discretion and professionalism, when dealing with sensitive data and information. • Assisting the Quality Team, to achieve departmental requirements. • Create documentation necessary to reflect the work breakdown structures necessary to manufacture products, components, and systems, in a safe and time efficient manner, ensuring production targets and timescales are achieved. • Provide feedback to the Production Engineering and Estimating teams as required, to support future business opportunities / bids. • Provide technical support to Production pe...
