The Opportunity
The Operations Team Leader (4 On / 4 Off) will be responsible for delivering best-in-class operational performance within the AOG Operations team, leading from the front to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of aircraft parts and aviation materials.
This role is key to driving team performance, managing workloads, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

Working Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off, 07:00 – 19:00
Key Role Accountabilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Operators to achieve operational and customer service excellence
* Plan workloads, allocate resources, and manage shift schedules to meet operational demands
* Oversee end-to-end aviation logistics operations, including import/export, warehousing, airside movements, and transport coordination
* Monitor team and operational performance, ensuring KPIs, service standards, and job margins are achieved
* Act as the main point of escalation for operational issues, resolving discrepancies, delays, and customer challenges
* Ensure all shipments, including AOG and critical aircraft parts, are delivered on time and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
* Maintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, airlines, and external partners
* Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
* Support training, coaching, and development of team members, ensuring ongoing compliance and capability growth
Your Experience
* Has proven experience leading teams in a time-critical logistics or aviation environment
* Demonstrates strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Has solid knowledge of export processes and aviation logistics operations
* Communicates confidently with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
* Is IT proficient, including Microsoft Office and operational systems (e.g. WMS)
* Has a proactive, hands‑on approach and thrives under pressure
* Can manage competing priorities and make effective decisions quickly
* Ideally has experience with compliance standards such as ISO 9001 / AS9120B
