About the Role
As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and members of the public. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, making it ideal for someone looking for stability and work‑life balance.
You'll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and visible presence on site at all times.
What You'll Be Doing
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
* Carrying out patrols and identifying potential risks
* Responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations
* Providing excellent customer service and site support
* Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
* Working closely with colleagues and external services when required
* Ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
* Previous security experience
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
