We are seeking an IT Service Delivery Manager to lead the IT Service Desk team and manage the local support and coordination of IT across Ringway Jacobs and relevant client sites. The role will support the design, implementation and ongoing support of applications and infrastructure to improve process efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
We are looking for someone who will work closely with local contract teams, corporate IT and client IT to help shape future IT strategy, define system requirements and ensure Ringway Jacobs IT services are fully supported and effectively coordinated across all operational and support functions.
What you will be responsible for
* Leading and managing the IT Service Desk team, ensuring workloads are effectively planned, managed and distributed
* Acting as the main point of contact for IT and system issues, escalating to Ringway Jacobs and/or client IT where appropriate
* Producing capacity and demand management reports on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
* Liaising with IT Infrastructure, Applications and Cyber Security leads to support technical and security-related incidents
* Driving service improvement and future solution development in line with the Ringway Jacobs IT Strategy
* Managing relationships with internal teams, clients and third-party suppliers, including service reviews and SLA management
* Project managing allocated IT projects from business case through to rollout and completion
* Ensuring appropriate service governance, tools, processes, asset management and reporting mechanisms are in place

* You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* You are familiar with industry-standard frameworks such as ITIL
* You have experience of leading, developing and up-skilling people
* You have experience managing third-party suppliers and vendors
* You can build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* You are mobile throughout the UK and hold a valid driving licence, with use of a car if not provided
