Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our family legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, with a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures. This role is essential in supporting our attorneys by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and managing case files efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
* Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
* Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases.
* Manage schedules and deadlines using Microsoft Outlook to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document creation and data management.
* Assist with trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing exhibits.
* Perform administrative tasks as required to support the legal team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
* Familiarity with IT systems relevant to legal practice is advantageous.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
