Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Surgery at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site one for an August start. This post is designed to support both emergency and elective services and will be modular in nature, with time spent in Emergency Surgery, Elective Surgery / Endoscopy and in the Surgical Critical Care Unit.
The elective components of the post are flexible and can be tailored to fit the needs of candidates to support their own interests within the full spectrum of general surgery, breast or urology, and will contain dedicated training lists.
Main duties of the job
Clinical duties expected on the wards include the requesting and monitoring of diagnostics,
Allocated academic project and supervisor for the duration of the post

Essential criteria
1. 1 Year minimum working in the NHS in general surgery
2. GMC registration with a licence to practice

3. MRCS or Part 1
4. NHS Experience

5. Experience of General Surgery at F1 / F2 level

6. Completion of core surgical training programme
