What Will Your Day Look Like?
This role involves being a senior escalation point for the Service Desk team and supporting end users with IT services. Responsibilities include resolving technical issues, answering queries, and fulfilling requests to ensure high performance.
* Identify and diagnose incidents and problems.
* Troubleshoot issues in person, by phone, or email, including nationwide support.
* Advise team members on actions to take.
* Log, categorize, and update queries and requests.
* Install, maintain, upgrade, and decommission hardware, software, or network components.
* Identify, log, and triage security incidents.
* Handle user and technical escalations.
* Serve as a senior escalation point within the support team.
* Assist in designing and improving IT services with other IT teams.

What You'll Need To Succeed:
* Willingness to participate in a remote weekend on-call rota, typically covering one day per weekend.
* Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016) and Windows 11.
* Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware and software.
* Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments.
* Experience documenting processes and procedures.
* Microsoft Technology certification.
* College diploma in IT or related field, or equivalent.
* Experience in an ITIL-driven environment and knowledge of ITIL principles.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
